Get started

ResearchOS is a desktop research workspace with a local notebook folder. Optional sharing, backups, AI, and publishing use online services. Read this first explains where data goes and how to choose your setup.

  1. Download the app and open ResearchOS.
  2. Follow account setup, then create or open a notebook folder.
  3. Explore the Workbench and use the feature guides as you need them.
